1986 Dodge Omni GLHS

Resto-mod 1986 GLHS Omni. Engine has been rebuilt with forged pistons bored .030 over, rebuilt head with upgraded valve springs, roller cam, new followers and PT lifters with required spacers. Block was bored, decked and honed. Engine bay was painted with 2 stage black and clear while engine was out. Engine harness cleaned and checked. Super 60 turbo from fwdperformance. 72lb injectors. Socketed LM set at 12psi. 3 bar map sensor located under hood. Polished valve cover with one piece gasket. New electric radiator fan. 90 Amp alternator upgrade. New condenser installed, r134 compressor, new evaporator in dash. Needs hoses made for AC to work. A525/A555 hybrid transmission with Shelby Chicklet diff.

Front sub-frame painted and all new poly bushings, rebuilt rack and pinion original to the car. New suspension bushings, sway bar bushings etc. Lambros Racing Engineering lowering springs. Rear suspension also replaced all bushings. Rear Koni's installed on car, front Koni's removed but go with car. Stainless steel brake lines, rebuilt rear brakes with new cylinders in February 2026. SLH1 Front brakes (caravan calipers and rotors). New brake booster and master cylinder to match SLH1 brakes. Original wheels are powder coated black with new tires installed in March 2026. New belts on engine in April 2026.

Interior was removed and floor coated with low weight sound insulation followed by new carpet and floor mats. Seats are from 1987 GLHS. Headliner replaced. Stereo replaced with Kenwood head-unit and JL audio amplifier under passenger seat. Kicker speakers in front doors. Omnipotent.com window rubbers for roll down windows as well as all plastic bushes for roll down mechanism replaces. All windows roll down smooth. Backing material for all door cards replaced with hard board.
