Up for sale is a well-preserved, extremely original example of a 1986 Saleen Mustang, one of fewer than 250 units built that year and among the last to feature the four-eyed Fox Body front fascia.

Powered by the 5.0L V8, T5 5-speed manual, this Saleen retains its factory engine configuration but benefits from the Saleen-specific suspension tuning: Racecraft progressive-rate springs, Koni adjustable shocks/struts, quad-shock rear setup, and larger front/rear sway bars for improved handling over the stock GT.

Cosmetically, the car features original aerodynamic bodywork, 16" Enkei mesh wheels, and Saleen livery with serialized dash plaque and exterior badging. Braking is upgraded with vented front discs and rear drums, and the interior retains the original Saleen/FlowFit sport seats, Momo steering wheel, and white-faced gauges.

The car is a matching numbers example, factory glass and a clean history.

Condition wise it's a very straight car, paint is in great condition as well as trim. It does have some cosmetic defects in and around car, struts are weak and could use replacement as they are the original ones- these have been kept to retain its originality.
