1991 BMW M5

Not a show car, just a well taken care of E34 M5. Cosmetically it's pretty much just like I got it, except for some small parking lot door dings. Garaged during its time here in Hawaii. Mechanically I've done everything recommended by my mechanics, and then some. Front seats have been covered with neoprene covers since I got the car. The leather under the covers is as good as shown on the rear seats in the photos. Comes with a three ring binder full of receipts going back to the original owner, three keys and two remotes.

A few issues.
1) Car came with a lowered suspension which I disliked. Too firm a ride and the bottom of the front bumper cover has had multiple encounters with those parking lot concrete or asphalt wheel stops.
2) Carpet in driver's seat has about a two inch hole worn in it, reportedly from the heel of the original owner's shoe.
3) Sound system is original and speakers need replacement.
4) Driver's seat suffering from the well known "seat back twist" problem. The one side that has failed is in a very comfortable position, so I just live with it. Likewise with the seat switch which sometimes needs to be cycled multiple times to get it to adjust, thigh support switch not working at all.

Had a buyer's inspection done in late "24 by the other best BMW independent work shop here on Oahu (Not the one that serviced my car). List of normal service items recommended, because they didn't know when they'd been done previously. A few things I'd take issue with, and a few that I've corrected. Bottom line, all the big ticket items passed.
