This 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 was purchased new in England and brought to the U.S in 2018. The truck is in its original body conditions, and some part of the original painting (royal greem) is peeling as shown in the exterior pictures. A small oxidation can be noticed right above the RHS external mirror, as shown in the picture. The underneath condition is very good, the chassis is free of corrosion; however, some oxidation points can be noticed on the surface of chassis, reflecting the normal car use along of the years.
Power is provided by a 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four that was recently replaced by a new engine bought at Rovers North (invoice supported) mated a five-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case, equipped with new Goodrich tires, and original alloy wheels set. The timing belt, water pump, fuel pump and clutch were replaced. This 110 is offered with main and spare keys, import documentation, and a clean WI title.
Photos in the gallery below show close-ups of the panels, including bubbling on the driver’s door, and passenger door. Photos show rust on the back, transition from roof to back panel.
New 235/85/16 Goodrich tires were fitted to the 16″ painted steel wheels, and a matching spare is mounted at the rear.
The interior is new replaced by Exmor gray vinyl, and features rubberized floor coverings, a locking center console.
The six-digit odometer shows approximately 178000 miles, however the engine had run 200 miles after the replacement. This is a summer and weekend family car.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four powers all four wheels through a five-speed LT77 manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. Frequent maintenance is provided by local garage.
