1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX

Second owner, family owned. Carfax report included. Purchased new off the Mitsubishi lot in 1999 here in Denver. Turbo all wheel drive JSM/DSM, 4G63T 2.0 turbo inline 4 cylinder. It is 100 percent original with no modifications other than the automatic antenna which was removed and a low profile antenna installed on the inside rear glass. Mods to the driver side rear fender delete for aesthetics. 215k miles. $8k in recent repairs. Passed emissions 2026. Original wheels have been rubber coated black however it can be easily removed if desired. Major work done by top rated third-in -country Mitsubishi tech at ProAutoCare in Denver. Dialed in throttle surge issue (set throttle body screw to factory specs. Paint and body are 7 out of 10. Black has been resprayed however not perfect.

There is rust on the inside edge of the rear hatch due to a clogged water drain port, it does not affect outside cosmetics. There is a small area of rust on the underside of the passenger side hood. All pictured. The door handles have always been an issue due to inferior plastic, they have been replaced and are functional however drivers side door lock cylinder has been pushed back into the housing. The window tint is separating along the edges on both drivers doors. I never liked the look of the automatic antenna so I deleted it and installed and interior antenna. It could be reverted back to original if desired. Reverse is a bit finicky sometimes however all forward gears are fine.

Got it on a lift today. There are a couple minor leaks that I noticed. I couldn’t tell where they were coming from but they were old, no drips. One leak down the upper radiator hose but that was replaced not long ago so I believe the clamp needs tightened. I actually have better new clamps than the old worm-screw type so I think I’ll put one of those on. There is some rusting along the frame rails as pictured. Nothing structural yet but they should be addressed soon. The struts and shocks and springs all need replacing. Suspension checked and all is good aside from that. Brakes checked, tires checked, drive shaft checked although needs grease in the zerks but didn’t have any on hand. Exhaust is rusty however no holes.

Sometimes takes a couple of cranks to get it fired up, replaced the battery and still had the issue. I believe it is a weak fuel pump and/or fuel filter issue. I bought the parts however never installed them. They will be included with the sale. Original antenna, one new brake caliper, other odds and end included with the sale along with the car cover.

Two sets of original keys, original owners manual and three volumes of Mitsubishi tech repair books. Clean title.
