About the model

The third generation of the Range Rover was introduced in 2002. Known as the Series 3, the third-gen Range Rover was developed during a time of BMW ownership and shared many components and engines from BMW models. The Series 3 Range Rover features independent air suspension mounted to a unibody chassis, as well as a range of naturally aspirated and supercharged gasoline V8 engines. Diesel variants were offered with turbocharged V6 or V8 engines. The Series 3 was in production until 2012 and was replaced by the Range Rover Series 4.
