The Austin London Taxicab, was a range of cars introduced in 1930. These cars were based on the Austin Twelve, and were used a taxicabs in the United Kingdom. The London Taxicab was powered by a 1.9L inline four engine, and featured specially built bodies. Three main variants of the London Taxicab were built, including the High Lot, Low Loading, and Flash Lot. Production of the Austin London Taxicab lasted until 1939, when production ceased due to WW2. After the war, Austin continued to build taxis with the Austin FX3.
