Austin Sixteen (1945 to 1949)

The Austin Sixteen was a series of cars introduced in 1945. Not to be confused with the earlier Austin Sixteen Light Six, this new family of cars was available in saloon or estate body styles, and was powered by a 2.2L inline four engine. This engine sent power to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. Production of the Austin Sixteen lasted until 1949.
