The M235i xDrive was built in both coupe and convertible body styles that featured slightly more aggressive bodywork. These cars were powered by BMW's N55B30 engine, which was a turbocharged 3.0L inline six that generated 322hp. Both a 6 speed manual, or 8 speed automatic transmission were offered, with drive going to all four wheels. Production of the BMW M235i xDrive ended in 2016, when it was replaced by the BMW M240i xDrive.
