The Bugatti Type 43 was a series of sports cars that were introduced in 1927. The Type 43 was created using the 120hp supercharged 2.3L inline eight engine from a Bugatti Type 35B and the chassis from a Type 38. These rare cars featured the distinction of being the first production cars that were capable of breaking 100mph. The Bugatti Type 43 (and later Type 43A Roadster) were available until 1932.
