The Bugatti Type 59 was a series of race cars introduced in 1934. The Type 59 was Bugatti's final 1930's racing model, and was built using a modified Type 54 platform, and used a 3.3L inline eight engine derived from the unit found in the Type 57. These early Bugatti racing cars are extremely rare, with only eight examples built in 1934.
