The Citroën BX was a range of large family cars introduced for the 1983 model year. The BX was designed by Marcello Gandini and was offered as an estate or five door hatchback, and was powered by a range of naturally aspirated and turbocharged inline four engines. The most notable Bx variant was the 4TC, a highly modified car used as a basis for Group B rallying. The BX featured a longitudinally mounted 2.1L turbocharged inline four driving all four wheels. The Citroën BX was in production until 1994.
