Daimler Majestic (1957 to 1968)

The Daimler Majestic was a line of luxury cars that was introduced for the 1959 model year. The Majestic was offered in a four door sedan body style that was powered by a 3.8L engine. This inline six engine generated 147hp which it sent to the rear wheels via a 3 speed automatic transmission. For the 1961 model year, Daimler introduced a version of the Majestic that featured a larger trunk, as well as a 4.5L V8 engine. This more upscale version was known as the Majestic Major. Although the production of the standard Majestic ended in 1962, the Majestic Major was built until 1968.
