The Delahaye 135 was a series of luxury cars introduced in 1935. Known as the 'Coupe of the Alps' (Coupe des Alpes), the 135 was one of Delahaye's most popular models, finding success in a range of motorsports endeavors. The 135 was offered in open and closed body styles, as well as a rolling chassis that would be bodied by coachbuilders. These rear wheel drive cars were powered by a 3.2L inline six engine that was available in a range of tunings, and produced between 95hp and 110hp. Delahaye also introduced the 138, which was a 135 variant that featured a longer chassis and a less powerful engine. Over the course of production, two notable performance-focused variants of the 135 were introduced, the 135M and the 135MS. Although production was halted due to WW2, Delahaye resumed production of the 135 until 1954.
