Dodge D Series - 1st Gen (1961 to 1965)

The first generation of the Dodge D Series was introduced for the 1961 model year. This new series of trucks succeeded the Dodge C Series, and were offered as two or four door pickup trucks. A wide range of inline six (Slant Six) and V8 engines were offered for the first generation D Series, which was produced until 1965, when it was replaced by the Second Generation Dodge D Series.
