Dodge W400 - 3rd Gen (1972 to 1980)

The Dodge W400 was a variant of the 3rd Gen Dodge D Series that debuted for the 1972 model year. The W400 was a heavy-duty pickup that was usually found in a brush fire, haz-mat, or stake bed truck configuration. The W in the VIN and title indicates its 4x4 capability.  Production of the Dodge W400 ended in 1980, when Dodge trucks were renamed as the Dodge Ram.
