Dodge Dart (1960 to 1976)

The Dodge Dart is series of cars introduced for the 1960 model year. The Dart name originally appeared on a 1956 Chrysler show car, but the production Dart was introduced as an entry level full-size model, but it evolved into a mid-size, and eventually compact model during its life. Dodge built the Dart in four generations: 1st Gen (1960-1961), 2nd Gen (1962), 3rd Gen (1963-1966), and 4th Gen (1967-1976). One of the most well known variants was the Demon, a performanced focused version available from 1971 to 1972. Although American production ended in 1976, various foreign markets saw the Dart's lifespan continue until later years.
