The first offering from Dodge was the Model 30. Introduced in 1914, the Model 30 had many features that were ahead of its time, such as the sliding gear transmission, all steel body construction, and a 12-volt electrical system. The Model 30 was powered by a 3.4L inline four engine that produced 35hp, and was available in a range of body styles such as tourer, coupe, and speedster. Production of the Dodge Model 30 lasted until 1922.
