The Dodge T & V Series was a family of trucks introduced for the 1939 model year. The T & V Series succeeded the Dodge Fore-Point Series, and was offered in a range of configurations, including 1/2 ton, 1 ton, 2 ton, and 3 ton. These rear wheel drive trucks were powered by a range of inline six engines and were commonly referred to as the 'Job-Rated' trucks. For the first year of production, this family of trucks were known as the T Series, but for 1940, the name was updated to V Series. Production ended in 1941 with the introduction of the Dodge W Series.
