Dodge Royal (1954 to 1959)

The Dodge Royal was a series of full-size intermediate cars introduced for the 1954 model year. When first introduced, the Royal was Dodge's top model, but when the Custom Royal was unveiled in 1955, the Royal was relegated to the intermediate class. The Royal was offered in a range of body styles, including sedan, hardtop (Royal Lancer), station wagon (Sierra, Spectator for 9 passenger variant), and convertible (1957 only).  Production of the Dodge Royal lasted until 1959, when the model was discontinued.
