The Ford Corsair was a series of mid-size cars introduced by Ford Britian for the 1964 model year. The Corsair, which was known as the Consul Corsair until 1965, was available in a range of body styles including sedan, coupe, convertible, and station wagon. These cars were available with inline 4 or V4 engines that were piared to manual or automatic transmissions that sent drive to the rear wheels. Production of the Ford Corsair ended in 1970, although Ford Australia used the Corsair name from 1989-1992 for a run of badge-engineered Nissan Pintaras.
