In 1932, Ford introduced their new range of full-size V8 powered cars. For 1932, this new V8 powered car was known as the Model 18, and then as the Model 40 from 1933 until 1934. This range of cars was available in a wide range of open and closed body styles, and featured power from a 3.6L V8 engine. As well as standard car body styles, pickup variants were also offered, and were known as the Model 46. Production lasted until 1934, when these cars were replaced by the Ford Model 48 & 68.
