Ford Country Squire - 5th Gen (1960 to 1964)

The fifth generation of Ford Country Squire debuted for the 1960 model year. This new generation of wood paneled, four door station wagons was based on the Ford Galaxie, and featured a range of V8 engines, ranging from 221ci to 390ci. These engines were offered with manual and automatic transmission options, with drive sent to the rear wheels. This generation of range-topping station wagons was in production until 1964, when it was replaced by the Sixth Generation Ford Country Squire.
