Ford Expedition (1997 to 2006)

The Ford Expedition was a series of full-size SUVs introduced for the 1997 model year. Throughout its production, the Expedition has been based on the Ford F-Series F-150, and was the first full-size four door SUV built by the company. Both rear wheel drive or four wheel drive versions of the Expedition have been produced, and the model has been offered with a range of V6 and V8 engines. Ford has also built an upmarket version of the Expedition known as the Lincoln Navigator. Five generations of the Expedition have been built, although at Classic we only track the 1st Gen (1997-2002) and 2nd Gen (2003-2006).
