The 2009 Ford Mustang Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition celebrated the 45th Anniversary of Iacocca and Ford's introduction of the iconic First Generation Mustang at the 1964 World's Fair. Only 45 examples of this this uniquely modified and coach-built fastback Mustang were built. The Iacocca Silver was based on the Fifth Generation Mustang GT and sold exclusively through dealer Galpin Ford after receiving custom metalwork from Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters coachbuilding company. The black leather upholstered seats featured diamond-stitched patterns and embroideries with a serial number plaque on the dashboard. The suspension components were improved by a Ford Racing Handling Pack and larger brakes. A 4.6L V8 engine was standard, and a supercharged version with 400hp was an option that sent power to the rear wheels through a five speed manual transmission. All coupes were painted in silver.
