Mercedes-Benz 500 E(1990 to 1995)

CMV $27,705

The Mercedes-Benz 500 E is one of the company's more interesting models. Introduced in 1990, the 500 E was a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. As Mercedes were entirely focused on their new S-Class, they hired Porsche to accomodate a 5.0L V8 engine in the front of the car as well as tune the chassis to be able to handle the increased power. Painstakingly assembled, the each handbuilt car took 18 days to complete. The 500 E was built until 1995, at which time over 10,000 examples had been produced. Near the end of production, the 500 E was used as the basis for the E 60 AMG.
