Morris 1100 / 1300 (1962 to 1971)

The Morris 1100 or BMC ADO16 has had a complex family history since its debut in 1962. The tiny car resembles the popular Mini and, like the Mini, was built with two or four doors throughout its lifespan. It was badged under several makes and variants, including the Austin 1100, MG 1100, Riley Kestrel, Vanden Plas Princess, and Wolseley 1100. It was assembled in countries all over the globe and came in three variants Mark I, II, and III. Morris stopped production in 1971, but other manufacturers ran until 1974, and after selling over 2 million units, the car was discontinued in favor of the Morris Marina.
