The Austin 1100 (later 1300), was a series of cars introduced in 1963. As was common practice by BMC (Austin's parent company), the 1100 was sold under various brands and names over the course of its production. The Austin version was introduced as the 1100, named for its 1.1L inline four engine. A later variant, the 1300, featured a 1.3L inline four unit. These cars were built in two or four door saloon body styles, as well as an estate version. From 1963 onward, Austin offered luxury variants of the 1100 that carried the 'Princess' name, but were not related to the Austin Princess. Examples of the Austin 1100 that were sold in North America were marketed as the Austin America. Production of the Austin 1100 and its variants ended in 1974.
Q: When was the Austin 1100 / 1300 produced?
A: The Austin 1100 / 1300 was sold for model years 1963 to 1974.
