The Saab 95 was a series of compact cars introduced in 1959. The 95 (Ninety-Five) was offered as a station wagon or panel van, and was initially based on the Saab 93, but as production went on, it became more closely related to the Saab 96. Originally, the 95 was fitted with an 841cc inline three engine, but when the model saw a facelift in 1967, a larger 1.5L V4 engine was used (1.7L for U.S market). Production of the Saab 95 ended in 1978. The Saab 95 is not to be confused the the Saab 9-5, a later model introduced for the 1998 model year.
