Suzuki GSF (1989 to 2016)

The Suzuki GSF series, better known globally as the “Bandit”, arrived in 1989 as a evolution of Suzuki’s GS series with a sharper attitude and accessible performance. Produced from 1989 through 2016, the GSF family spanned multiple displacements and loosely defined generations, from the original GSF250/400 to the enduring GSF600/650 and the torque-rich GSF1200/1250, the latter transitioning to fuel injection and partial liquid cooling in its final iteration. Engines ranged from 250 cc to 1,255 cc, with the later 1250 producing around 98 hp. All models used chain-driven RWD layouts with 5 or 6 speed manual gearboxes, no automatics, ever.
