Toyota Celica GT - 4th Gen (1986 to 1989)

The fourth generation Toyota Celica GT was now the second tier in the Celica model range just above the returning ST. The GT initially came with a front-wheel-drive 2.0L 2S-E motor and was upgraded a year later to the 3S-FE which is the same powerplant found in the ST. The GT had a few upgrades such as a strut bar and seats with lumbar support. The car was also offered in all three body styles: hatchback (a/k/a liftback), coupe (a/k/a notchback), and convertible.
