The Vauxhall Bix Six was the successor to the Silent Eighty and was based on the Vauxhall Cadet. The model was available in two and four-door configurations with fixed and convertible roofs, as well as in a limousine body style. The Bix Six was produced in five different variants: the BX, BY, and BXL, which differed based on wheelbase length and engine displacement. In 1937, the GY and GL variants replaced the previous offerings. About 12,000 Bix Six examples were built before the model was discontinued in 1940 at the start of WW2.
