About the model

Mercedes-Benz introduced their W112 cabriolet in 1962. Marketed as the 300SE Cabriolet, these cars were based on the W111, yet featured a more well-appointed interior, more standard options, and Mercedes' M189 3.0L inline 6 engine. In terms of design, the W112 cabriolet was based on the W111 220SE coupe/convertible, without the fintails. These 300SE cabriolets were the top of the line cabriolets offered by Mercedes during their production. Built until 1967, the 300SE Cabriolet saw just 708 examples produced.
