#4267 and one of 700 Canadian market Bullitt editions with full service. One of 1431 total Bullitt cars produced in black for 2008 compared to 4377 in highland green. The smaller numbers make them rarer.
The S197 Bullitt has a factory tuned 315hp (on 91 or higher octane) version of the 4.6L 3V V8. It’s reliable with a long history of easy ownership, cheap maintenance and parts, and very good on gas for a V8.
Originality:
Great two owner Alberta and BC car.
Car drives really nice and tight with all systems working as designed and no faults.
100% stock except for an Alpine rear view camera and JVC Bluetooth head unit. Comes with the original Shaker 1000 head unit with factory box that came with the car along with all books and 2 master keys when delivered.
Mileage:
Car has 81000 kms (or 50000 miles), and is being driven on weekends until sold so it will increase a bit.
Mechanical & Cosmetic:
Has a brand new battery, nearly new Nitto tires, recent brakes, professionally applied diamond coat paint protection polish, and documented service since delivery.
Front and rear bumpers were each repaired at separate times due to low speed accidents. Totals for both were about $4k and they went through insurance.
Shows some highway chips and the driver seat has light signs of side bolster rash commensurate with the age and sport seat wear and tear. Rear control arm rubber bushings squeak in wet or damp weather which is a common trait with the S197 Mustang. I didn’t bother to change them since it doesn’t bother me as a summer driver.
I can do a PPI for the new owner if they book it and pay for it but this is a fairly simple straightforward car with a proven drivetrain. I bought it sight unseen and it was fine. It’s a nice driver and I’ve owned and driven many Mustangs.
Payment:
Cash, wire transfers, or drafts printed at a chartered bank with bank branch info available to confirm draft number.
No PayPal, Venmo, crypto or trades.
Market Condition:
Clean resales on BAT and Classics are going up as these start to mile out or die out. My opening bid is much lower than hammer prices for higher mile equivalents. See the Hagerty hammer price valuation range in $US above.
US Buyers:
Welcome to buy but I can’t help with arranging shipping or answering import questions etc… I would just fly in and drive it back, or hire a car broker to arrange paperwork and a car carrier.
Warranty or Implied Warranty:
Car is being listed and will be sold “AS-IS” without any warranties or guarantees of any kind. The Buyer or Buyer agent acknowledges having the option to ask questions beforehand, and pay for an inspection and or arrange for one at their cost, and the Buyer or Buyer agent accepts it in its present condition.
$26900 CAD or $18900 USD
