The Austin A30 was a range of small family cars introduced in 1951. This family of cars was the first made by Austin to feature unibody construction, which greatly reduced weight. The A30 was available in saloon, estate, and van body styles, and was powered by a 803cc inline four engine which sent drive to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. The Austin A30 was in production until 1956, and was replaced by the Austin A35.
