Austin Metro (1980 to 1987)

The Austin Metro was a series of compact city cars that were introduced in 1980. Like many products built by the Rover Group, the Metro was sold under various names and brands over the course of its production. The Metro was a front wheel drive hatchback that was powered by a range of inline four engines that were paired with manual or automatic transmission options. Although production of the Metro lasted until 1998, the Austin Metro was discontinued in 1987.
