BMW 325i Touring - Manual - E30 (1988 to 1994)

The Manual, Touring version of the E30 BMW 325i that debuted for the 1988 model year. These station wagons were introduced in Europe, but were never officially imported to North America. When the 325i Touring was first introduced, BMW didn't produce any station wagon variants, so the prototype for this body style was actually created by BMW employee Max Reisböck at his home. When BMW's chairman saw the model, the company decided to put it into production. Power for these wagons came from BMW's M20B25 engine, which was a 2.5L inline six that generated 168hp and 164 lb ft of torque. This drive was sent to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. The E30 325i Touring was the last E30 variant to be built, with production lasting until 1994.
