The second generation of Chrysler Town & Country was introduced for the 1951 model year. Town & Country was the name of Chrysler's station wagon offerings, and was available for the Windsor, New Yorker, and Saratoga. All second generation Town & Country station wagons were four door versions, and were fitted with a 6.8L V8 engine. Production of the second generation Town & Country continued until 1959, when the Third Generation Chrysler Town & Country was introduced.
