Chrysler Town & Country - 8th Gen (1982 to 1988)

The eighth generation Chrysler Town & Country was introduced for the 1982 model year. The eighth generation Town & Country was offered as a faux wood panelled station wagon or convertible. The convertible body style made its return to the Town & Country after having featured during the Second Generation Town & Country, and was available from 1983 until 1986. The eighth generation Town & Country was downsized, and was fitted with a range of naturally aspirated and turbocharged inline four engines. Production of the eighth generation Town & Country lasted until 1988, ending the line of Chrysler Town & Country station wagons. In 1990, Chrysler reintroduced the Town & Country name, but this time it was applied to a family of Town & Country Minivans.
