Diamond T M3 Half-Track (1941 to 1944)

The M3 Half-Track was introduced in 1941 by Diamond T as an armored personnel carrier produced for the United States Army during World War II. It combined front wheel steering with rear tracks in a 4x4 configuration with a half-track system, providing excellent mobility over difficult terrain. It was equipped with a White 160AX inline six engine, displacing 6.3L, paired to a 4 speed manual transmission with a 2 speed transfer case. It featured an open top armored body, two front doors, and the capacity to carry 10 to 12 soldiers in addition to the crew. Notably, the M3 became one of the most versatile tactical vehicles of the conflict, used as a personnel carrier, command vehicle and platform for anti aircraft weaponry. The Diamond T M3 Half-Track was produced until 1944.
