The M151 was a series of light offroad vehicles introduced in 1959. The M151 was developed and originally built by Ford, although in later years, it was built by Kaiser and AM General. This family of M151 'Jeeps' was powered by a 2.3L inline four engine sending drive to all four wheels. Later M151A1 and M151A2 variants addressed stability issues among other improvements. Production of the M151 lasted until 1988.
