The marketing team at Ford thought it best to ramp up the limited edition car's production to over 4000 units and sell them anyway. These peak Fox-body era LX Mustangs were equipped with the 5.0L V8 and suited in Deep Emerald Green paint with a white leather interior and matching convertible top. A total of 4,103 examples of the Mustang were created.
