Frazer Nash Colmore (1932 to 1936)

Produced from 1932 to 1936, the Frazer Nash Colmore was designed as a larger, more comfortable touring model, with a total of 19 examples manufactured. Buyers had the choice of two powerplants: a 1.5-liter (1496 cc) four-cylinder Meadows unit or a twin-overhead-camshaft six-cylinder Blackburne engine, which was available in 1.5- and 1.7-liter (1499 or 1660 cc) capacities. Thirteen of the Colmores were built with the Meadows engine, while the remaining six utilized the Blackburne. Like its predecessors, power was delivered to the rear wheels via Frazer Nash's signature chain-drive transmission. Key features of the Colmore included a long chassis fitted with a wider aluminum body that offered full weather protection. It was exclusively available as an open three or four-seater with separate mudguards.
