Frazer Nash Fast Tourer (1924 to 1929)

Produced from 1924 to 1929, the Frazer Nash Fast Tourer was a lightweight sports car powered by a 1.5-liter (1496 cc) four-cylinder engine; early models featured a Plus-Power overhead-valve unit, which was quickly superseded by Anzani side-valve and Meadows engines. Power was delivered through Frazer Nash's signature chain-drive transmission, which offered quick gear changes and a distinct weight advantage, initially featuring three forward gears and one reverse before a four-speed option became available in 1927. This model featured a slightly longer wheelbase than the Super Sports model (105 inches), open two-, three-, or four-seater bodywork frequently left as unpainted, polished aluminum and separate mudguards joined by running boards, with the spare wheel typically mounted vertically on the nearside running board, though the very last cars in 1928 and 1929 eliminated the running boards and moved the spare to the rear.
