The GMC DUKW, also known as the Duck, was a series of military amphibious vehicles introduced in 1942. The DUKW was an amphibious transport created for WW2, and featured on-road, off-road, and marine capabilities. The Duck was powered by a 4.0L inline six engine capable of driving all six wheels, or the propeller. Production of the GMC DUKW ended in 1945. After their military service, it is common to see Ducks being used as tourism vehicles around the world.
