The MG WA was a sporting saloon that entered production in 1938. At the time it was the largest and heaviest car that MG had ever produced, given its wider track at the rear in order to fit a larger body. The WA is powered by a six-cylinder Morris QPHG engine, enlarged to 2.6L inline six producing a little over 95hp. Drive was delivered to the rear wheels through a 4 speed manual gearbox. The factory could also supply the car as a Tickford coachbuilt 2-door drop-head coupe or a 4-door tourer. The MG WA was only built for two years, with production ending in 1939 due to the outbreak of WW2.
