Suzuki DS Series (1978 to 2000)

The Suzuki DS Series was Suzuki’s stripped-down Dirt Sport motorcycle family, developed during the 1970s as a competition-oriented offshoot of the company’s broader TS trail-bike range. Produced primarily from the late 1970s through 2000, the DS line encompassed models such as the DS80, DS100, DS185, and DS250. Power came from Suzuki’s air-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engines, ranging from 79 cc to 246 cc. Drive was sent to the rear wheel through chain final drive and manual transmissions, generally offering five speeds.
