The Alfa Romeo 146 was a sedan body style car launched in 1995 and produced between 1995 and 2000. It replaced the Alfa Romeo 33 and was also available as a two-door hatchback -the 14 5-. Initially, it was fitted with three different 4-cylinder boxer engine variants (1.4, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 and 2.0 liters) and a 1.9-liter turbo and non turbo diesel. Although during 1995 it was only offered in standard (base) and Lusso (L) trims, the Quadrifoglio and ti trims were introduced later on, which featured several mechanical and chassis improvements over the standard and L variants.
