The Alfa Romeo SZ, meaning 'Sprint Zagato,' is a two door sports car introduced for the 1990 model year. Initially unveiled by Zagato as a concept, the car was the product of a collaboration between the design departments of Zagato, Alfa Romeo, and Fiat. Put into limited production by Alfa Romeo, the SZ was mechanically based on the Alfa Romeo 75 and featured a 3.0L V6 engine. Production ended in 1991 with only 1,036 examples produced. An open top version of the SZ, the Alfa Romeo RZ, would be introduced in 1992.
