Aston Martin DB2(1950 to 1953)

In 1950, the world was introduced to what would be two of the most famous letters in the automotive world: DB. The DB2 was the first car produced by Aston Martin named with the iconic DB lettering. The DB2 used a modified version of the 2-Litre Sports' chassis and was powered by a Lagonda 2.6L engine. It was also the first Aston to be offered with the optional Vantage upgrade, and would see an open top model introduced to the range later during production. The DB2 was replaced by the DB2/4 in 1953.
